The resorts and venues we work with offer great wedding packages, add on options and have create incredible events to make your wedding day the best day ever! One important thing to know is the resorts and venues we choose to work with not only offer amazing wedding packages, décor, florals, food, entertainment, etc… but they also are prepared for back up options – while no one wants rain on their wedding day, some elements are simply out of our hands, but rest assured the venues we recommend offer beautiful back up locations just in case! The island offers resorts to suit all needs – adults only, couples only, family friendly and anything in between. Most often wedding couples choose to stay at All Inclusive resorts, to make the vacation seamless and easy for their loved ones. These resorts are plentiful in Jamaica with a variety of price points and amenities. We highly recommend and advise wedding couples to choose a resort that can accommodate their needs and wishes for their wedding events as not all resorts can, but don’t worry – we are here to guide you through that and help make selecting the right resort easy! Apart from the resorts, the island always has something to do! Whether you want sun and sand or culture and history, Jamaica’s got it mon! Ride a bobsled down the rainforest or hike in Fern Gully. Climb the famous Dunn’s River Waterfall or snorkel the reef in Ocho Rios. Sit back with a Red Stripe and watch the cliff drivers jump from Rick’s Café in Negril while taking in one of the most stunning sunsets you’ll ever see or play a round of golf at Half Moon Golf Course – it’s internationally known for being challenging and breathtaking. Still need more excursion ideas? Take a bamboo raft down the Martha Brae River. Bike through the famous Jamaican Blue Mountains. Tour the Mavis Bank Coffee Factory where Blue Mountain Coffee is processed. Stop at any roadside jerk hut for Jamaica’s own Jerk Chicken – be sure to try festival if they have it! Visit the White Witch at Rose Hall, who is said to still haunt the property. Stop at Appleton Estate to learn the history and see how Jamaica’s famous rum is made from sugar cane. The list goes on and on… there truly is something for everyone in Jamaica! Jamaica is such a special island in the Caribbean. One of the most common thing people say if they’ve been to JamRock is how friendly and warm the people are. And they really are! The vibe on the island is laidback with people who are genuinely warm, hospitable and happy. You can walk through the market and hear folks humming Bob Marley or hear it at any bar. What's better than getting married in the Caribbean..... Getting married in the newly designed overwater chapel at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica! With crystal clear Caribbean waters providing the perfect backdrop for your "I do" moment, the overwater chapel provides the ultimate wedding location! Offering panoramic views with the optional open-air venue, seating for loved ones, glass floors to see the blue waters below, and plenty of ways to transform the space to make it unique to your wedding theme! The wide beach adjacent to the chapel is the perfect setting for dinner and end the evening by dancing under the stars! "Sandals South Coast is also going to make it possible to tie the knot overwater with its new over-the-water wedding chapel, with a breathtaking 360-degree, panoramic water views and a glass floor aisle. Brides and grooms will have the option to make a grand entrance on their special day by arriving to the wedding chapel in style via boat, too." This resort is one of our favorites, just ask how many times we've been here ;) If you're looking for info, real experiences and making this location the place where your happily ever after begins, let's talk! I recently returned from another trip to St Lucia. The island itself is stunning and lush and evokes a magical feel with it's rainforests and majestic famous peaks, the Pitons! Since this was not my first time to this tropical island I was already aware of some of things that make St Lucia so inviting to visitors from around the world! However it was my sister's first trip here, so I was excited to share what I knew and already loved about this small Caribbean hot spot! I always say "the further away the destination, the better it is" which is totally true in this case. From the interior of British Columbia, Canada, this island is a bit of a distance to travel to. St Lucia is located in the Eastern Caribbean, only 3 islands north of South America, boasting gorgeous weather, crystal clear waters and history dating back centuries. This destination is ideal for couples wanting an exotic feel of a true tropical getaway with the comforts of well appointed accommodations and amenities! With day trips to the rainforest, waterfalls, mud baths, hot springs, deep sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, ziplining, snokeling, hiking, shopping, gambling, touring rum factories and banana plantations; there is endless possibility to keep busy. And if you prefer to relax and unwind there are countless beaches, spas, pools and ways to escape in St Lucia! Of course another reason to come to the Caribbean is the cool beverages, mouth watering food and fresh fruits! I was beyond please to find local fruit vendors selling homegrown, handpicked local fruits from their kayaks each day on the beach! My kind of breakfast! St Lucia offers a backdrop like none other to say "I do". View breathtaking views of the Piton mountains to turquoise blues of the Caribbean Sea and tropical palm tree beaches you can be married in your choice of local! St Lucia now features the Caribbean's first and only overwater chapel located at Sandals Grande St Lucian. Set at the end of a pier providing stunning 360 degrees views of Rodney Bay, featuring a glass bottom floor and ample space for loved ones to celebrate your I do's.
